“Would H.M. Attorney General confirm that when a Minister has made a discretionary decision, and it then emerges that the decision was unlawful or was procedurally unfair, the Minister’s successor is able to reconsider the decision in question?”'

    1. Deputy T.M. Pitman of St. Helier will ask the following question of the Chairman of the Privileges and Procedures Committee –

“Given that a democratic deficit exists in relation to representation in the Assembly between heavily populated and less populated Parishes, what steps, if any, does the Committee believe can be taken to ensure that the issue of under-representation is fully addressed by the Committee and its sub-committees in co-operation with the Electoral Commission?”

“The Police have not managed to pin it on him”. Pin it on him? I don’t like the sound of that neither do I like the idea of States Members working in this way. The States should not be used to take shots at people when they cannot defend themselves as that really is bullying.

Thanks TJW.

Well I heard about it and to say during live States debate that you will deal with a member of the public with a 'bit of two-by-four' is shocking. I do not think we have heard the last if this by a mile.

Any States Member that uses PP to make accusations against people yet hasn't got the balls to repeat them outside of the Chamber is simply a coward.

Deputy Pitman is a slime ball. How cowardly can you get?
