additional storey of car parking is built?”

Jersey is an island which rewards incompetence/cover-up with high office.

Le Marquand and Pryke's attitude and non-answers above are again beyond belief.

To understand why children are still not safe on this island read:

http://thebaldtruthjersey.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/jersey-child-abuse-cover-up-another.html

Anne Pryke's performance is again dismal. To understand how this incompetent came to be appointed to such an important position it might be worth finding out about some of the activities of her late husband DS Roger Pryke in the "Child Protection Team" as outlined in the Vic College abuse eventually [partially] revealed in the Sharp Report, see:

http://freespeechoffshore.nl/stuartsyvretblog/letter-from-exile-11/

With low voter turnout Jersey gets the government it deserves.

Where do you begin with Ian Le Marquand?

To quote Jersey insider Simon Bellwood:
http://simonbellwood.blogspot.co.uk/

"[If] Ian Le Marquand gets in tomorrow I am giving up.
The police are investigating Les Chene and this guy used to send kids there to be kept in solitary confinement for 28 days.
He has already stated that the Police need to be under more political control.
What's the point................................"

Le Marquand DID get elected - probably because not enough people had discovered the evidenced blogs. Simon Bellwood had already sacrificed enough and has dedicated himself to his own family and his business doing a neat line in crafted furniture. www.jerseyoak.com/products/index.htm

Best of luck and thanks to Simon. It is only because of people like him that any of this came to light and that Jersey child protection MAY become adequate within the next few years.

It is saddening, and frightening to hear the "answers" from the disgraced Health Minister, and equally disgraced, Home Affairs Minister to Deputy Higgins' questions.

What their alleged answers demonstrate is the Jersey culture that allowed paedophilia to be so rife on the Island for so long is exactly the same now as it was then.

How can anybody have any trust in the police and Health Department when what that child was subject to is not considered a child protection issue?

VFC why can't you help yourself but show absolute hatred towards the Health and Home Affairs Ministers whenever you comment about them?
Neither of these people are disgraced, that is your propaganda.

One of the best ways of ensuing that an inquiry does it's job is to ensure that their work will be externally scrutinised. It concentrates the mind and the conscience.

Please sign this petition to ensure the Jersey inquiry do the best possible job, not the worst that they think they can get away with, as is beginning to look likely with their non-consultation, non-answers and evaporating ToRs
