Questions without Answers. 29/01/13.

You have to give it to him, he knows how to not answer a question.
All the way till he's Backed in to a Corner!
Just like he was on the Insideout Program.

3. Deputy M.R. Higgins of St. Helier will ask the following question of the Chief Minister -

“Will the Chief Minister advise the Assembly the current position regarding the Historic Child Abuse Redress Scheme and in particular the number of claims accepted, rejected and in dispute, and in the case of the latter will he outline the nature of the disputes and the current position regarding the extension of the scheme to cover people who were abused whilst in foster care or abused by persons who either lived in the care homes or were visiting them?

  4. Deputy M. Tadier of St. Brelade will ask the following question of  H.M. Attorney General –

“Given the criticism of States Police and a Lawyer in the Law Officers’ Department by the Privy Council in relation to the Curtis Warren prosecution and the alleged involvement of the Attorney General in the subsequent police disciplinary case, would the Attorney General make a statement clarifying the situation?”

7. Deputy R.G. Le Hérissier of St. Saviour will ask the following question of the Minister for Home Affairs –

“Given the verdict of the Police Disciplinary Tribunal, is the Minister satisfied that the police acted with complete authority in the matter of bugging a vehicle in the case Re Curtis Warren?”

  16. Deputy M.R. Higgins of St. Helier will ask the following question of the Minister for Home Affairs –

“Due to the important public interest issues involved will the Minister publish the written decision of the disciplinary tribunal involving the three police officers involved in the Curtis Warren car bugging case, and if not why not? And if so when?

So the head of the Hants enquiry was "mistaken" in his evidence at the internal secret hearing regarding HM AG and accordingly to the minister the police deputy chief Taylor was also "mistaken" when he gave his evidence he may have misunderstood the questions being asked?! Were these really senior police officers on oath to tell the truth? surely someone should be asking more questions regarding these "mistakes" given in evidence? And now we hear that the chief Bowron was the person who initiated the proceedings!! All allegations found to be ill conceived in fact and law according to the officers lawyer. Sounds very much like a comedy of errors and the ministers position as well as the chief and deputy chiefs positions are now untenable... How can our force trust any of them now??

Hey TJW,

Great work as usual.

I don't suppose you have audio of Anne Pryke failing to answer a simple question and getting rebuked by the Bailiff do you, as per today's JEP? It was question 8 from yesterday:

8. Senator S.C. Ferguson will ask the following question of the Minister for Health and Social Services –

“Would the Minister confirm the size of population upon which the size of the proposed new hospital is being based?”

Apparently it's a classic

Hi Anon.

Re: Anne Pryke O yes The Minister who thinks she can get away with it like our Home Affairs Minister.

As much as she was hoping it wouldn't make it on hear, I'm going to disappoint her & YES it will be up may be tomorrow but Deaf Friday.

She should not get away with that, what a disgrace could you see her in any other Government? No not at all & she been in her job for what is it, well what ever it is its to long.

But this is Jersey & the that's how they like it, a Minister that Hasn't got a clue!

Cheers TJW, looking forward to the Anne Pryke one, if only to hear the Bailiff give her a ticking off! Much appreciated.

I don't know why you bother wasting your time doing this. Like you say questions without answers so I cannot be arsed to listen anymore. Maybe to save your precious time leave it until you get a 'question with an answer?'

As someone not from Jersey, or even the UK, I must say: all the people whose links I've followed from Leah McGrath Goodman's site, including you, are incapable of talking like normal people. Your way of writing, and the way you talk in videos is so awkward it makes you look crazy. NOT the idea of a pedophile ring, mind you. It's just the way you people talk and type sounds like utter rambling.
You also really need to learn where to use apostrophe's (that one I just used, for example, should not be there), and when to stop Capitalizing random Words.
