Deputy Mike Higgins dead right about how the Solicitor General really may as well not bother turning up as his answers are anything but. Seems like we have one part of our bent judiciary covering for another here over the disgraceful treatment of the Pitmans. Somebody needs to be charged over this witch hunt and if the viscount is really saying it is the media's fault not his then he should back it up with some action.

Why can't some Politicians accept that the States are supposed to be separated from Police operational matters and the Viscount is not accountable to them but the Court when making decisions? We hear this every 2 weeks almost yet still these pointless questions are tabled.

"Why can't some Politicians accept that the States are supposed to be separated from Police operational matters"

Your statement relates to the "non-answer" to the question
“Following information given to the Minister about the alleged failure of the States of Jersey
Police to properly investigate video evidence contained on a USB stick of a sexual act and their
inaccurate report to the multi-agency child protection body and subsequently to the courts, will
the Minister advise what he has discovered and state what steps have been taken to correct the
records and notify all the parties concerned?”

The questioner is well aware of what is on the video and that it patently represents a child protection issue. It is not operational matters which are being questioned but whether the account given to the child protection team is correct and accurate. This would then be an oversight issue in that respect and NOT an operational matter.

".....the Viscount is not accountable..." Agreed, NO ONE is accountable and children are still not safe in Jersey

The bizarre and erratic behaviour of the Viscount relates to attacks on the writer of that blog.

This is all in relation to Trevor Pitman's fall out with the Viscount which is not a States matter as the Viscount is only accountable to the Royal Court.

Hope a load of people go to this rally in support of gay people on Saturday at the Royal Square. Maybe that Monty man hunter character who is always abusing Syvret and the Pitman's and Reform on Twitter will be there? Then again likely not. Jon won't want to risk his face being seen.
