I suppose we should respect everyone's right to express a view but I have to say that Shenton's contribution to this story is quite unbelievable in its sheer vindictiveness and determination to divert attention from the real issue.

BEN SHENTON ON BLOGGING

He has a problem dealing with the fact that the Sub Panel carried out many interviews in an open and transparent way. They can all be found online.

There are some worried people out there and i'm not sure why yet.

Maybe my latest blog posting might highlight some of these issues.

These recordings are invaluable

Thank you

Thanks for this. Ben Shenton saying the professional media are "professional" and I must agree with the first commenter. Try putting the same amount of effort into discovering how paedophiles were able to harm our children in State run "care" homes FOR DECADES as you do discrediting those who are looking for the truth Ben.

So Mick Gradwell and BDO Alto declined to comment. That pretty much says it all. The abuse of public money, not justice, fair play and common decency has been the means by which this shambles has been allowed to continue. Jersey holds a broken and damaged society close to its chest. To outsiders it is little more than a nasty stain on the reputation of humanity. Thank you for lifting the veil.

Thanks for providing this audio. I don't get what Shenton is going on about. Has he read the Report from the Scrutiny Panel? There is no factual basis there for any criticism of local blogs. All the published facts point to the referenced problem with the media being the fault of only the State Media.

"The professional media were very professional". At what? Mr Shenton, at what?

Taking money and doing a service for someone and keeping quiet? I can think of another professional that takes money, provides a service and keeps quiet too.

And then to take an unwarranted (no pun at Stuart's police 'visit') swipe at the open media even after being interviewed by VFC in the Royal Square too.

Hi TJW,

Did you have time to record any of the Ministerial speeches last week, for Health, for example?

I would like to listen to the difference between Pryke and Ferguson.

Cheers, as ever.

Speeches and questions for Pryke and Ferguson please. The other two (Southern and Farnham) were no hopers, but Ferguson was a real challenger

People who tell the truth have nothing to fear from the sort of bloggers found here.

People who belittle responsible bloggers usually have something to hide.

Anyone who could describe the Jersey mainstream media as professional after reading Stuart's blog over the years needs their head examined.

Shenton should be ashamed of himself.
